Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to all. We've done a lot in the last month since the last post. Here's a picture of Mommy and Sarah at a friend's 1st Birthday party. Sarah's friend, Enzo, turned one on 5 Dec. Enzo was born during the Army-Navy game last year. Both that game and this year's was something to miss if you're an Army fan.

Next Shellye and I went to the Emperor's Birthday celebration at the Japanese Embassy. Last year it was held on 7 Dec. Something tells me it's not held on that date at the Embassy in Washington.

Rachel and Hannah like playing dress up with Sarah. But it's usually Sarah who gets dressed like a doll. We have a similar picture with Sam in a blue scarf but we'll save him the indignity of publishing it on the blog.

Instead you can enjoy this picture of us on Christmas Eve. Please note Sam's clothes. He was like this all day after church. We could get no other explanation from him other than "I wanted to." OK.

Here is one of the pictures we self-timed in the house a couple of weeks ago of the family. And one of sweet Rachel with her baby sister.

Here's the kids before doing stockings this morning. By the way, it is 93 degrees F today, so we're going to jump in the pool soon.

Something tells me Sarah didn't have this much fun during Christmas last year. We pause to thank God for her and her first Christmas with us. We also thank God for His Son, Jesus, our Lord and Savior; for it is through His blood we are saved, a free gift for all who would trust in Him. Hope your Christmas was equally special!

Much love,
Brian, Shellye, Jesse, Rachel, Hannah, Sam and Sarah.
